There're two types of affiliate's postbacks in Affise: global and local postback, where:
- Global postback URL will be sent for a conversion across all offers a partner is enabled for.
- Local postback URL will be sent for a conversion per specific offer a partner is enabled for.
Affiliate's global postback sending is managed by one of the conversion statuses (approved, pending, declined, not found, hold, pending cap) or by all of them (you can check conversion's status in Statistics -> Conversion slice). Affiliate's local postback sending is managed not only by conversion status but by goal value as well - all offer goal values or specific ones.
In other words, affiliate's postbacks are triggered to be sent in case a local or global postback matches conversion settings.
PFB a scheme of affiliate's postback sending logic:
Consider global postback is an additional option managed on affiliate's profile or platform settings level. In case of conversion doesn't match local postback 'status' & 'goal', the option forces the system to check and send global postback.
The option ticked on settings level ('Settings' section > 'Affiliate dashboard design' tab > 'General') makes it work like that for all affiliates by default.
