Time to read: 5 min.

Sometimes when an affiliate tries to sign in to his profile on the Affiliate panel, he receives messages, which stand for this or that error. Let's go through every error and find out how you can solve it.

This error appears when the affiliate tries to sign in with the usage of the wrong email or password.

Solution: if he forgot a password, he can use the "Password recovering" option:

Error No. 2: Your account is not confirmed. Follow the link in the letter, please.

This error appears when the affiliate registered on the platform but hasn't followed the link in the confirmation letter. When you have an "Enabled" type of registration, once the affiliate is registered, the confirmation letter is sent to him. He needs to follow the link contained in the letter to be able to sign in and to start working immediately. Read more about this type of registration here.

Solution: the affiliate should find the letter and follow the link there. If he can't find it, ask him to check the "Spam" folder. If he didn't receive the letter - check SMPT-settings.

Error No. 3: Your account is not approved. Please contact your manager to activate your account.

This error appears when there are two conditions met:

  • You've created the affiliate in the following ways:
    • added him on the Admin panel via the "Add" button;
    • added him on the Admin panel via the API:
    • imported him via the Import tool.
  • This affiliate has "Not active" status and he tries to sign in to the Affiliate panel.

When the affiliate registers on the Affiliate panel via the registration form, a confirmation letter with a confirmation link is sent to him. In all three cases of affiliate's addition described above no confirmation letter is sent, so the affiliate needs to contact his manager to gain the "Active" status.

One more case: this affiliate has "Not active" status and tries to reset a password via the "Password recovering" button.

Solution: make the affiliate "Active" - then he will be able to sign in. Notify him if needed.

Error No. 4: Your account is not activated. You need to contact support to activate your account.

It means the affiliate who is trying to sign in has "On moderation" status.  He might have this status due to the following reasons:

  • he just registered on the platform, and you have a "Pre-moderation" type of registration. Read more about this type of registration here.
  • This status was assigned to him by a manager.

Solution: if you want to work with this affiliate, make him "Active".

Here you can read more about affiliates' statuses.

Error No. 5: Your account is banned.

Solution: if you want to continue working with this affiliate, make him "Active".

Here you can read more about affiliates' statuses.

This error appears when you've deleted the affiliate via the Admin panel. When he tries to sing into Affiliate panel, the system requests his data to the server and doesn't receive anything back.

It also could mean that this affiliate hasn't been registered yet or you haven't added him to Admin panel by any available way.

Solution: if you want to continue working with this affiliate, you need to add him again as a new one. Other solution: he can register on the platform once again.
