How to Notify an Affiliate on Offer Status Changing Via Email?

Affise provides you an option to inform an affiliate on offer status update via email notifications. The options are available on the Offer level and are managed there.

How to notify active Affiliates on Offer status changing?

To send email to active Affiliates on Offer status changing you need to navigate to 'Offers' section - > choose needed Offer - > 'Offer edit' page - > 'General' tab - > 'Status':

Near the 'Status' field, you can see the 'Send email to active affiliates on offers status changing' checkbox. Enable this checkbox if you want to notify your active Affiliates on Offer status changing. This option has to be ticked each time an offer status will be changed.

import.png Active Affiliate - an Affiliate who is not disabled from an Offer/Advertiser and has sent traffic for the last 30 days. 

The email body can be managed in 'Settings' section - > 'Content' - > 'Email templates':

As a result, an Affiliate will be informed on offer status update via email address set in Affiliate's profile. The email will be sent from your email account set on the Admin level and will contain an email body specified in the 'Email templates' section.

How to notify active Affiliates before Offer disabling?

To send email to active Affiliates on Offer status changing you need to navigate to 'Offers' section - > choose needed Offer - > 'Offer edit' page - > 'General' tab - > 'Send email to active webmasters before stopping':

You may see the 'Send email to active webmasters before stopping' field. Here you need to specify the number of hours to want to notify your active Affiliates before Offer disabling. 

There're two conditions which have to be met to notify an Affiliate on Offer disabling in set terms:

  • both 'Date to' and 'Send email to active webmasters before stopping (in hours)' fields have to be filled in; 
  • an Affiliate has to be active, means is not disabled from an offer/advertiser, and has sent traffic for the last 30 days.

The email body can be managed in 'Settings' section - > 'Content' - > 'Email templates':

As a result, an Affiliate will be informed on offers disabling in advance, based on specified date and time. The recipient's list is formed by email addresses set in partners' profiles settings.

import.png  'Send email to active webmasters before stopping' is a one time option. The email on offer disabling is supposed to be sent one time within an offering lifecycle.
