Offers overview

Affise provides the simplest way to track additional goals (events) and post-install events sent by your Advertisers. Once an offer is created, payouts for different target actions, goals (events) can be added in the offer’s settings.

Goal (event) values can be set directly in the 'Offers' Section - > 'Offer edit' page - > ‘Payouts’ section:

Goal (event) Title is a descriptive field that does not affect the integration process. It’s a descriptive goal (event) name to be shown on the statistics tabs on your Affise panel.

Different titles can be added in the 'Settings' section - > Content -> 'Goals' -> 'Add' button:

Once Goal (event) Title is added in your Settings, it can be chosen out of a drop-down menu in the 'Offers' Section - > 'Offer edit' page - > ‘Payouts’ section:

Goal (event) value is a mandatory field. It’s a value to specify various target actions (events) at the level of the Advertiser's postback. Since goal (event) value affects integration, it should be set for tracking purposes both in the offer’s settings and Advertiser’s postback.

If the offer has several goals (events), all should be specified in payouts settings.

Ex: goal (event) value '1' = install, goal (event) value '2' = deposit.

import.png Only digits, letters, underscores, dashes can be used in the Goal (Event) Value field. Since goal (event) values are used in postback URLs, no spaces are allowed to use: it’ll make the URL invalid. ‘0’ character cannot be used as a goal (event) value.

How to track the default goal (event)

Once goal (event) value is set in payouts’ settings, it should also be added to Advertiser’s postback.

Let’s have a look at the following example:

You can find your default postback in the 'Offers' Section - > 'Offer edit' page - > ‘Postbacks’ section:

The Advertiser’s postback for goal (event) '1' Install will look the following way:

https://rocketcompany.affise.com/postback?clickid={clickid}

import.png All the postbacks sent by Advertiser without goal (event) value are sent with goal (event) value '1' by default. That’s why there is no need to add &goal=1 to Affise postback for goal (event) with a goal (event) value '1'. If the goal (event) parameter is omitted in Advertiser’s postback, a conversion will be registered with the goal (event) '1' accordingly.

How to track the other goals (events)

Once goal (event) value is set in payouts’ settings, it should also be added to Advertiser’s postback.

Let’s have a look at the following example:

Offer ‘X’ has two payouts and two goals (events): 2 and Install.

As stated earlier, the default goal (event) value is '1'. So, if you want to track any other Goal (event) value, you should add the &goal=goal_value parameter to your Affise postback:

So, the Advertiser’s postback for goal (event) '2' Registration will look the following way:

https://rocketcompany.affise.com/postback?clickid={clickid}&goal=2

and the Advertiser’s postback for goal (event) 'install' will look the following way:

https://rocketcompany.affise.com/postback?clickid={clickid}&goal=install

import.pngRight now we support the following samples of the default Admin domain, which is used in Affise Postback URL:

  • http://offers.rocketcompany.affise.com - will be supported until the end of the 2020 year!!!
  • https://offers-rocketcompany.affise.com

For the rest of the goals (events), goal (event) value should be added to the postback URL.

You can always check which goal (event) value was sent by your Advertiser in ‘Statistics’ section - > ‘Server postbacks’ under ‘{goal}’ column:
